How are you different from the typical child care center?
Wishing Tree focuses on the needs of parents who need just a few hours of care for their children several times a month in and out of typical child care centers. As a result, Wishing Tree is open from 8am to midnight every day of the week. We also host fun birthday parties.

How are you similar to the typical child care center?
Similar to other child care centers, we will give your children quality care as they explore our many offerings such as interactive games, storytime, creative arts tables, and pretend play centers. Enjoy your productive time away and return to happy kids!

What are your store hours?
We're open every day of the week from 8am to midnight.

How old does my child have to be?
To take advantage of the drop-off membership, children must be at least 3 years old, fully potty-trained, and under 13 years of age.

How long can kids stay?
Each child is allowed up to three hours per visit.

How much is a membership?
Memberships vary depending on the number of visits and children per month. Please see our Member Plans page for more details.
Do visits roll over?
Yes! You spoke and we listened! Unused visits now roll over through the end of the calendar year.
Do I have to be a member?
No! Every Tuesday night from 6pm - 8pm is Pokemon/Game Night! Attendance is free for members or $10 per child for non-members. Pizza and salad are provided.
Also, the third Tuesday of every month is Date Night! We've partnered with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to provide child care for $5 an hour while you catch a movie. Pizza and salad are provided.
Are background checks conducted on employees?
Yes! Criminal background checks and a search of the Child Protective Services Central Registry is conducted for every employee of Wishing Tree.

Do you have security cameras?
Yes! Every inch that is allowable by law is recorded for your child's safety.

Is Wishing Tree a nut-free center?
Yes! Every child is welcome to bring their own food to the center, but we ask that nut products be left at home.

Do you partner with other businesses or non-profits?
Yes! We are honored to be a preferred vendor for Step Sisters by providing child care for those impacted by Breast Cancer.
We also teamed up with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema by providing child care the third Tuesday of every month for parents and guardians attending a movie.
We also provide child care for networking groups hosting events at any of the facilities in One Loudoun such as Savvy Women Network.

We are now branching out to provide quality child care over the holidays across the Northern Virginia area. Please complete a form here if interested in Wishing Tree bringing whimsy to your location.
